BUILD OF PREDATOR HK - CH.2

Atlantis has been the subject of countless films, as has Nazi gold and oil polluting our oceans, but never have all these elements come together under one roof. Aiming for a screenplay 90-110 pages max.

RELEASED TERRAMENTALS GET SMART - OFF GRID GROUP BUILD MINI SUBMERSIBLE

No longer law abiding citizens Redan Simdo and his fellow protestors have been baptized into a world of political and military espionage, coming out the other side with a new political ally in Jorges Dicaprio. Dicaprio warns them about being spied on by the state, who will watch their every move, and may try to frame them again. He advises Red, Max and Zera to get off the grid, offering to fund their activities in return for their help in releasing him from the asylum holding camp at Northeye prison, not far from Hastings.

Dicaprio explains that the group could make the culprits pay for framing them and making them criminals, by threatening to destroy a few of the oil rigs in the North Sea. At first they think the Cuban smuggler is crazy, but when he shows them plans for a Predator HK, and reveals that he is extremely wealthy from his drug smuggling consultancy work. They begin to take him seriously.

The former peaceful protestors form into the Terramentals and get themselves off the grid. Hence, breach their parole conditions. A serious step, from which there is no going back. Zera Masken is particularly keen to expose Sergeant Scotford for sexually assaulting her. She is supported absolutely on this by her somewhat emboldened teammates. Especially Zinzi, who heard the commotion in the holding cells at Scotland Yard, was fearful of attack, and nobody took her complaint seriously.

The Terramentals spring Jorges from Northeye prison. From where they head to a secret location owned by their new Cuban friend. When they get there, they find the former smuggler was telling the truth. His lair is loaded with equipment and the half completed Predator HK. His workshop provides comfortable accommodation for the crew.

OFF GRID

Night hung over Northeye like a guillotine blade—sharp, inevitable. Redan Simdo pressed his face against the rain-slicked window of the rundown safe house, listening to distant foghorns off Hastings pier. Max leaned against a battered filing cabinet, flipping through Jorges Dicaprio’s dossier by torchlight.

Zera paced, boots echoing on concrete: “They’ll watch our phones, our bank transfers—even our trash.”

A shadow detached itself from the door frame. Jorges stepped forward, face half-lit by the single bare bulb. His prison-issue overalls had been swapped for a threadbare leather jacket; the flicker of a gold chain vanished beneath his collar.

“You think they’ll let us vanish?” he rasped, voice low as gravel. “Scotford has CCTV in every ironmongery. The judge who sentenced me got a bonus from Total last Christmas. They’ll hunt us.”

Red leaned back. “Then we stay off any grid they can trace. No phones. Cash only. We slip through cracks.”

Jorges smiled—equal parts triumph and menace. “Good. Because the only language these bastards hear is damage. You bring down a rig or two, they bleed profits—and all their dirty secrets float to the surface.”

Zera’s jaw tightened. “Destroy a rig—kill oil workers.”

“Not if you cripple it,” Jorges countered, producing schematics rolled like scrolls. “See this valve bank? Hit it with a shaped charge—no loss of life, maximal environmental shock.” He unspooled a drawing: the skeletal outline of a Predator HK mini-sub. “We’ll build it here. You pilot it. You tip their world over.”

Max swallowed. “Why me?”

Jorges paused, as if weighing a confession. “You’ve got the steady hand. And no more fear of prison stripes.”

Zera’s eyes gleamed. “Then let’s get to work.”

THE BREAKOUT

Rain hammered the prison’s corrugated walls as the Terramentals slipped through barbed-wire fences in stolen overalls. Red tapped two times on the guard hut window—Jorges’s signal. Inside, the guard’s cigarette glow blinked.

Zinzi, crouched behind the perimeter light, waved silently. She’d heard Zera’s cries in the Yard. Now she nodded once, her face set like flint.

Red whispered, “On three.”

When they burst in, the guard barely had time to react—Red’s elbow snapped ribs; Max jammed the cell-door chip in the lock. Metal screamed. Footsteps thundered down the corridor. Zera drag-kicked the first attacker; Jorges sprinted past, half-smiling at his own adrenaline.

They ducked into a service tunnel. Alarms blared—red strobes flickered. Heartbeats thundered in their ears. But every door they punched through brought them closer to freedom…

THE LAIR REVEALED

The workshop on the cliff-edge felt like something dreamt in half-sleep. Rainwater dripped through skylights, mingling with oil on concrete floors. A hundred solder-smoke tendrils curled around steel frames and hydraulic lifts.

At its center lay the Predator HK: a sleek black hull half-assembled, prow sliced like a shark’s jaw. Wires snaked out of hatches; open engine bays cradled ionic drives. The hum of hidden generators thrummed in their chests.

Max ran a hand along the cold metal. “It’s… beautiful.”

Jorges clapped him on the shoulder. “Your new ride. Learn her inner angles—she responds to muscle memory.”

Zera studied the charge banks stacked nearby. “And these?”

“A gift from our Cuban friends,” Jorges said, lips curled. “We set them on a rig in 72 hours. Or BP coughs up an explanation in Parliament.”

Outside, fog rolled off the sea like a living thing—hungry, insatiable. They spread maps on a battered workbench, plotting supply convoys, patrol routes and the blind spots in naval radar.

Zanzi tapped coordinates into a tablet she’d hacked from MI6’s satellite uplink. “Astute-class enters Falmouth at 0900—refuelling cycle two hours.”

Silence fell. The only sound: the distant hiss of breakers and the faint staccato of their own breathing.

Red stood, fist on map. “Then we strike at first light.”

They looked at one another—no more civilians, no more timid leaflets under lampposts. Tonight they became something else.

The Terramentals had come to reclaim justice by sinking empires.

SIXTY FOOT POWERBOAT

In not very long they get organised, purchasing a 60 foot powerboat as the test and delivery mechanism. The Predator is soon completed and Max is trained as the pilot, since he is best qualified. The Predator performs spectacularly. They move to Cumbria to plan the hijacking of one of His Majesty's Astute class nuclear submarines, posing as tourists.

Bart, the Sly Fox, hacks into a satellite feed, from where he learns about submarine provisioning patterns. Enabling them to choose their target ....

MI6 identify the hack, but dismiss it, since nobody could hijack an Astute submarine. The MOD advise to watch the hack and try to trace back to source. Nick Johnson and Sir Rodney Dunbar agree with the recommendations. Dirty Harry does not put two and two together.

In prison, the North Sea oil protestors met Jorges Dicaprio, a Cuban submarine expert. He is due for deportation having been refused asylum in the UK. Released from prison, the Terramentals agree to break Jorges out of prison and work with the sub expert to build a mini-sub capable of sinking, or hijacking a nuclear powered fast attack submarine. Dicaprio is due to be deported having been refused asylum in the UK.

Disillusioned eco activists are imprisoned by the British, for peacefully protesting in London about unrealistically low fines for oil spills in the , demonstrating strictly in accordance with their Article 9 and 10 Human Rights. They are targeted by fossil fuel industry fraudsters, who bribe police officials and court judges to secure a conviction, with the backing of corrupt ministers of state who have undeclared personal investments in oil drilling companies: Amoco, BP, Shell, Total. That sets in motion a train of events, where, having been framed, the ever more determined environmentalists build a mini-sub, fast enough and especially equipped, to sink or capture Astute, Aukus and US Seawolf class submarines. Having captured HMS Neptune, the Terramentals torpedo a BP owned rig, also destroying two others (Shell), with the looming threat to target all 150 plus, operating in the North Sea. The oil producers are temporarily forced to shut down production, as a result of the significant media coverage and public outrage on realization of the pollution. The UN asks John Storm to provide a geodata survey on the environmental damage.
