CLEOPATRA VII - EGYPTIAN PHARAOH REBORN
THE TARGET - Terramentals aim to steal a British Royal Navy submarine, to destroy oil wells in the North Sea, by way of drawing attention to the manifold oil discharges, and their unlawful detention, as legitimate conservation protestors.
Cleopatra VII Philopator was the last Pharaoh queen of Ancient Egypt, who died in 30 BCE. Her tomb lay lost and undiscovered for over two thousand years, where Alexandria was subsumed by earthquake and tsunami in AD 365.
Cleopatra was a member of the Ptolemaic dynasty, a family of Greek origin that ruled Egypt after Alexander the Great's death during the Hellenistic period. The Ptolemies, throughout their dynasty, spoke Greek and refused to speak Egyptian, which is the reason that Greek as well as Egyptian languages were used on official court documents. By contrast, Cleopatra learned to speak Egyptian well, and represented herself as the reincarnation of an Egyptian goddess, Isis.
In this fictional story, Cleopatra's tomb was discovered by German, Italian and Swiss scientists, and reincarnated using the most amazing technology, developed with funding from gold smuggled out of Germany in U-boats and specially adapted aircraft at the end of World War Two.
She becomes the world's first true time traveler, coming back to life, renewed, with a brighter outlook on living in the new age of computers and motorised transport. In the belief that John Storm is Mark Antony reborn, and that they were fated to be reunited.
